What is a tool?
One capability from a provider, with its own price: a search, a page read, an image model.
What does the setup prompt do?
It only puts instructions on your clipboard. Paste them to your agent: it opens Agentik’s connection guide and configures your app. Authorization still happens in your browser.
Do I need a provider subscription?
No. Tools used through Agentik draw on your workspace credit. Your agent’s own app may still need a subscription, and each tool has its own access requirements.
Can I explore without an account?
Yes. Browse tools and their prices without an account. Running them needs a workspace and, for paid calls, enough credit.
What if a tool call fails?
You are billed only on a verified success. A known failure is refunded; an uncertain one is held until reconciled, then billed or released.
Is anything my tools return stored?
No. Agentik passes the call through and keeps only the receipt: tool, price, latency, status.
What if my balance runs out?
Your agent gets a clear “insufficient credits” answer and stops. Only a person adds credit, from the workspace.
Can I control what my agent spends?
Yes. The balance is the ceiling: your agent can never spend more than you put in. A key can also carry hourly, daily, lifetime or per-tool caps, an allowlist and an expiry.
How does Agentik make money?
A fee applies when you add credit. Tool calls draw on it at the provider’s API price, with no markup. Your workspace shows the available payment terms.
